WP lead: NIMR, Co-leads: TGHN – Vito Baraka
Objectives:
- Select and conduct training of trainer (ToT), workshops on genomics and laboratory skills
- Conduct training on bioinformatics, data interpretation and support ICT infrastructures
- Support postgraduate training (MSc bioinformatics) for selected candidates
- Organise workshops, short courses, and webinars on environmental surveillance (PGI and TGHN platform)
Summary
WP6, led by NIMR, will support training to enhance skills transfer and competencies in genomics, laboratory techniques for genomics work, bioinformatics, and genomic epidemiology and its integration. Additionally, support will be provided for two individuals to pursue an MSc in Bioinformatics.
